Program Description

This is a design based career conversion/ development course at Masters level, for anyone who has a passion for landscape architecture, but a first degree in any other subject.  

It brings together 'conversion' modules of the postgraduate diploma, with modules from the MA taken by those holding an undergraduate landscape degree, combined into 'straight through' programme for direct entry to the UK profession at Licentiate status. Landscape architects are in demand nationally and internationally. There is a high industry employment rate.  Our graduates perform well within the field, achieving recognition and industry awards, and 100% from our Conversion MA have found employment in practice and in senior research or policy roles, including many who have not come from an art or design undergraduate programme.  Our School has links with a range of professional practices, and will give you invaluable experience of working collaboratively with other disciplines, on live projects and with professionals in a practice setting. Admission Requirements

• Minimum 2:1 degree in any subject.
• Indian Students:-50% or above from the following Universities: Delhi; Mumbai; Pune; Kolkata; Chennai; Anna; Bharatiyar; MSU Baroda; Bangalore 55% or above from all other recognised institutions Universities we are aware of with different grading scales and required score:
  • Gujarat Technological University: CGPA 5.8
  • Amity University: CGPA 5.5
  • Kannur University: B or above. (A = 75 to 89, B+ = 60 to 74, B =50 to 59)

  • At least 70% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School
  • IELTS waiver for Kerala State Board : 65%
