Program Description

The course will equip you with the computation, mathematical, business and financial views of Blockchain and financial technologies. After successfully completing the course you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of theoretical as well as application of Blockchain and Financial technologies.

The MSc Blockchain and Financial Technologies will offer a number of core modules including a dissertation and a limited number of optional modules to enable students who wish to pursue specialisms in areas such as Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Fintech, AI systems in finance, cyber security and data analytics in finance and businesses. Our specialist laboratories have everything you will need to develop a thorough critical understanding and gain valuable hands-on experience in a wide range of emerging technologies. You will learn to critically develop and evaluate information security policy and assess the effectiveness and improvement of information systems security within the financial systems.

Admission Requirements

• Bachelor's degree 2.2 or above,  in Computer Science (or equivalent degree with significant maths and computing content).
• Indian Students:-50% or above from the following Universities: Delhi; Mumbai; Pune; Kolkata; Chennai; Anna; Bharatiyar; MSU Baroda; Bangalore 55% or above from all other recognised institutions Universities we are aware of with different grading scales and required score:
  • Gujarat Technological University: CGPA 5.8
  • Amity University: CGPA 5.5
  • Kannur University: B or above. (A = 75 to 89, B+ = 60 to 74, B =50 to 59)
