Program Description

This MSc programme combines principles from mechanics, electronics, control, computers, automation and robotics to design, manufacture and test smart and cognitive systems and devices, which utilise a combination of these disciplines.  This will enable you to gain a depth of advance knowledge and critical awareness of the most up to date practices and theories in mechatronics and computer systems engineering. The postgraduate programme will arm you with all you need to be able to create your own mechatronic systems that are smart and cognitive, developing them from imagination through to reality.

You could apply new solutions to industrial problems using mechanical and electronic engineering and computer technology; such as for robotic vehicles for underwater exploration.

Within our School we also have a dedicated careers advisory service as well as an active alumni network able to facilitate contact with prospective employers.

Admission Requirements

• Minimum 2:2 BEng Honours or 2:1 BSc Honours in Engineering.
• Indian Students:-50% or above from the following Universities: Delhi; Mumbai; Pune; Kolkata; Chennai; Anna; Bharatiyar; MSU Baroda; Bangalore 55% or above from all other recognised institutions Universities we are aware of with different grading scales and required score:
  • Gujarat Technological University: CGPA 5.8
  • Amity University: CGPA 5.5
  • Kannur University: B or above. (A = 75 to 89, B+ = 60 to 74, B =50 to 59)

  • At least 70% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School
