Program Description

This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Permanent Way Institution on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a partial CEng accredited undergraduate first degree.There is an acknowledged shortage of skilled structural engineers with the right qualifications and experience. We have designed this course to fill this skills gap and give you a competitive edge when it comes to your career.

Graduates from our MSc Structural Engineering course can expect to find work in a variety of consultancy and contracting roles in fields such as structural engineering, infrastructure projects, geotechnical engineering, highways and transportation.The skills you will develop while gaining your MSc will also enhance your career prospects in other related areas such as research and management. Admission Requirements

• Minimum 2:2 BEng Honours or 2:1 BSc Honours in Civil Engineering
• Indian Students:-50% or above from the following Universities: Delhi; Mumbai; Pune; Kolkata; Chennai; Anna; Bharatiyar; MSU Baroda; Bangalore 55% or above from all other recognised institutions Universities we are aware of with different grading scales and required score:
  • Gujarat Technological University: CGPA 5.8
  • Amity University: CGPA 5.5
  • Kannur University: B or above. (A = 75 to 89, B+ = 60 to 74, B =50 to 59)
