Enterprise and Entrepreneurship BA (Hons)
Program Description
The course is focused around the concept of ‘value creation’ and the activity of transforming purposeful ideas into action, thus generating value for yourself or for others. The value created can be social, cultural or economic.
- Delivered by staff from the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE), this course benefits from material reflecting the latest in entrepreneurial research and thinking.
- Study mandatory modules related to your own personal entrepreneurial development, alongside exploring the core skills needed to start-up a business.
- The opportunity to experience living and studying abroad or working for a global UK-based company in your third year.
- Benefit from ICTE’s global networks, which are established in Europe, Africa and Asia, and which help inform teaching of entrepreneurship and enterprise in a global context.
- The opportunity to gain support from Coventry University Social Enterprise CIC, who can offer support to help develop and nurture your business ideas (subject to availability).
Our previous graduates have gone on to start their own businesses, work within existing family businesses, as well as medium-large companies such as, IPG Media brands, One Black Bear and The Financial Conduct Authority.
Admission Requirements
- Indian Students-Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or the Equivalent to 65% of total GPA.
- Arab Students need to meet any of the following-
- Students who hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) from High School with a minimum score of 30 overall.
- Students who have 3 A-level passes with a minimum grade of C or above.
- Students who hold a Diploma with 2.5 GPA out of 4 or 3.0 CGPA out of 5 (subject to syllabus match).
- Students who completed American high school should have 2 APs with 2 points or higher.
- Students who hold Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or Central Board of Secondary Education.
