Program Description

This course focuses on providing you with the knowledge thought to be required for a successful career within financial services. From September 2022, this course will only be available for third year entry.A wide and varied industry, we will provide you with the theoretical insights and the practical knowledge needed to effectively deliver financial services. This course covers a comprehensive range of financial themes including, regulation, risk management, financial planning, financial economics, investment practice and portfolio analysis. In this course, you should become confident in your ability to assess, risk and critically appraise existing theories and practices for the successful implementation of financial practice. With a degree in financial services behind you, you could progress onto career routes such as investment banking, financial advisory and financial economics.Many graduates of this course have chosen to progress their academic career by undertaking a master’s in subjects such as Finance and Investment Analysis. Graduates have also advanced into large, successful companies such as HSBC, Charles Derby and Coventry Building Society.

Admission Requirements

• Indian Students-Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or the Equivalent to 65% of total GPA.
• Arab Students need to meet any of the following-
  • Students who hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) from High School with a minimum score of 30 overall.
  • Students who have 3 A-level passes with a minimum grade of C or above.
  • Students who hold a Diploma with 2.5 GPA out of 4 or 3.0 CGPA out of 5 (subject to syllabus match).
  • Students who completed American high school should have 2 APs with 2 points or higher.
  • Students who hold Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or Central Board of Secondary Education.
