Program Description
Interactive Media and Web Technologies BSc (Hons) responds to an increasing demand in the creative industries for imaginative individuals with a flair for developing creative user interfaces, combined with web and media content development skills.
- During the course, you will be given the opportunity to apply key programming, media production, scripting, user experience design and web development skills in creative contexts.
- You will be provided the opportunity to contribute to exciting interactive media projects using emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality and live motion capture.
- The course is practically focused, with an emphasis on the production of industry-ready portfolio material.
The course should enable students, upon successful completion, to pursue careers such as: web developer, user experience designer, mobile app developer, digital media producer, content/asset creator for video games, 3D animator and motion graphics designer.
Admission Requirements
- Indian Students-Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or the Equivalent to 65% of total GPA.
- Arab Students need to meet any of the following-
- Students who hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) from High School with a minimum score of 30 overall.
- Students who have 3 A-level passes with a minimum grade of C or above.
- Students who hold a Diploma with 2.5 GPA out of 4 or 3.0 CGPA out of 5 (subject to syllabus match).
- Students who completed American high school should have 2 APs with 2 points or higher.
- Students who hold Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or Central Board of Secondary Education.
