Program Description
Occupational therapists have the privilege of working with people of all ages, helping them to participate in occupations that hold personal meaning and value to them.
Additional key points:
- Accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
- UK students will receive a payment of £5,000 a year through the NHS Learning Support Fund – this does not need to be paid back
- State-of-the-art teaching facilities including dedicated laboratories for anatomy, electrotherapy and manual skills, hospital wards, critical care settings, community housing and other real-life environments relevant to practice.
There is strong demand and excellent employment options for occupational therapists. Our courses are developed collaboratively with key stakeholders including practice partners and service users with the aim of producing graduates with the knowledge and practical skills desired by potential employers.
On graduation, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council allowing you the opportunity to work as an occupational therapist in the UK (please note registration is subject to application, availability, meeting any applicable visa requirements, membership/registration and additional fees may apply). Admission Requirements
- Indian Students-Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or the Equivalent to 65% of total GPA.
- Arab Students need to meet any of the following-
- Students who hold an International Baccalaureate (IB) from High School with a minimum score of 30 overall.
- Students who have 3 A-level passes with a minimum grade of C or above.
- Students who hold a Diploma with 2.5 GPA out of 4 or 3.0 CGPA out of 5 (subject to syllabus match).
- Students who completed American high school should have 2 APs with 2 points or higher.
- Students who hold Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or Central Board of Secondary Education.
