Program Description

You may apply for this one-year BSc top-up if you already hold or are studying a Foundation degree in a relevant subject or you are transferring from another BSc course. Alternatively, applicants may take the Foundation degree in Animal Management taught at our partner, Bedford College, and then transfer to this course. The course enables you to develop your practical skills in our well-equipped laboratories while your studies give you a deeper engagement with subjects including animal physiology; disease management; and conservation management.

• You have access to the extensive zoological education centre at Bedford College's Shuttleworth campus, which includes farm, companion and zoo animals
• The course develops your skills in independent enquiry through the completion of a research project
• You graduate with key skills for employment within academic or government research; the agricultural industry; zoological collections; conservation; teaching; or other animal-related careers

Admission Requirements

• Indian Students:-Year 12 with 55% overall.
• Arab Students:- Any of the following:-
  • 2 A level passes (minimum C and D)
  • International Baccalaureate (24 points)
  • A recognised Foundation degree

Remarks:

Indian Students IELTS Waiver: - 

• At least 70% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School.
• Punjab and Haryana Boards will not get IELTS waive off.
