Program Description
Learn the theoretical underpinnings of English you need to teach through exploring the main genres of creative writing (poetry, prose, drama and media) as well as developing your understanding of modern and Shakespearian theatre studies. You study a diverse range of literature from the medieval period to the present day, learning to apply techniques of textual criticism and different theoretical approaches. Alongside this element of the course, there are units focused on your development as a teacher, exploring how children learn and develop, and introducing you to the latest technologies used in teaching. You also benefit from school placement experience throughout the course which will enable you to gain Qualified Teacher Status when you graduate.

Admission Requirements
- Indian Students:-Year 12 with 55% overall.
- Arab Students:- Any of the following:-
- 2 A level passes (minimum C and D)
- International Baccalaureate (24 points)
- A recognised Foundation degree

Indian Students IELTS Waiver: -
- At least 70% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School.
- Punjab and Haryana Boards will not get IELTS waive off.
