BSc (Hons) International Finance and Banking
Program Description
The course offers a structured, integrated approach to studying international finance and banking, beginning with a comprehensive understanding of the 21st-century economic and business environment. You study the theory of banking and financial markets; corporate banking, governance and financial regulation; investment; the role accountancy plays in corporate behaviour; data analysis; and social and environmental reporting. In your final year, you take on a specialist project in accounting, finance and economics, and there are optional units for those who wish to specialise in areas such as globalisation or econometrics.
- Develop your understanding of the theory of banking and financial markets, and how the theory plays out in the real world
- Explore how your subject relates to other business areas, which gives you the chance to work with students on other business-related courses
- Examine regulation and risk management to see how traders manage risk; how share prices are determined; and what makes global financial markets crash
- Learn from an academic and research team highly qualified in international finance
- Take up opportunities to visit the Bank of England and London Stock Exchange as well as meeting finance professionals from our business partners, who will challenge you to solve practical, real-life business issues
- Build your personal and employability skills so you can demonstrate to potential employers that you are ready for a graduate position
- Graduates of the course can claim ACCA and AIA exemptions
- Take the course over four years and include a fee-free year in industry (see below), gaining work experience and building your contacts
Admission Requirements
- Indian Students:-Year 12 with 55% overall.
- Arab Students:- Any of the following:-
- 2 A level passes (minimum C and D)
- International Baccalaureate (24 points)
- A recognised Foundation degree

Remarks:
Indian Students IELTS Waiver: -
- At least 70% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School.
- Punjab and Haryana Boards will not get IELTS waive off.
