BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation
Program Description
The degree focuses on developing your practical skills while teaching you how to apply theory to underpin clinical reasoning. Study and practice areas may include gym instruction, sports massage and manual therapies as well as anatomy, biomechanics, human physiology and different types of injury.You put your learning into practice via case scenarios; on-site practice opportunities; work-based placement with industry experts, some of whom are graduates of this course; and student learning trips. You may work with professional athletes, members of the public and University staff as well as fellow students to improve quality of life and return to normal physical function.
- On successful completion, you can apply to become a Graduate Sport Rehabilitator (GSR) on the Professional Standards Authority’s accredited register, held by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT)
- As a Higher Education Partner of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), our courses allow you to work towards many sport and physical activity professional standards
- You use industry-standard equipment and techniques in our state-of-the-art learning environment that includes purpose-built sport and exercise science labs; a Human Performance Centre; and an on-site sports injury and rehabilitation clinic
- You complete a minimum of 400 hours of practice placement in a range of different settings from elite professional sports teams to private clinics and independent practitioners
- You benefit from learning a range of transferable skills valued by employers
Admission Requirements
- Indian Students:-Year 12 with 55% overall.
- Arab Students:- Any of the following:-
- 2 A level passes (minimum C and D)
- International Baccalaureate (24 points)
- A recognised Foundation degree

Remarks:
Indian Students IELTS Waiver: -
- At least 70% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School.
- Punjab and Haryana Boards will not get IELTS waive off.
