BSc (Hons) Applied Sport and Physical Education
Program Description
The course gives you a deeper understanding of sport science and physical education as well as relevant experience through work placements and/or internships at sports organisations, schools and within a physical education environment, preparing you for a successful career. Linking closely to your previous studies and work experience, it provides seamless progression to university-level study with the added benefit of a targeted initial induction and a week-long summer school to help support your academic development.
- Study key areas of sport science relevant to physical education including sport pedagogy, sport performance, and physical activity and health
- Enjoy world-class teaching from an academic team who are experts in fitness, personal training, and strength and conditioning as well as having research expertise in environmental physiology, health and metabolism, and movement
- Develop your personal training skills and build partnerships with local sports clubs and teams with help from our excellent links in the industry including Sport England and the Football Association
- Benefit from the learning opportunities offered by our specialist teaching laboratories and state-of-the-art sports facilities
- Hone your research skills through completing a work-placement research project
- Gain a sound training, skills and knowledge of the sport science/physical education area together with transferable skills valued across a range of careers
Admission Requirements
- Indian Students:-Year 12 with 55% overall.
- Arab Students:- Any of the following:-
- 2 A level passes (minimum C and D)
- International Baccalaureate (24 points)
- A recognised Foundation degree

Remarks:
Indian Students IELTS Waiver: -
- At least 70% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School.
- Punjab and Haryana Boards will not get IELTS waive off.
