Program Description

This Master's degree in Sport Coaching engages coaches and teachers in the process of applying theory to their practice and aims to develop reflective practitioners with the ability to effectively manage pedagogic problems. It offers a unique opportunity for professional and career development, focusing on applied and experiential learning within a community of practice.

Students from this course have developed careers in sport coaching, teaching, sport science support, further and higher education, and sports development. The programme also provides an excellent spring board for students wishing to progress to the taught doctorate in Sport Coaching, MPhil/PhD or Professional Doctorate study.

Admission Requirements

• General Requirement:-
  • Indian Students-More than 50% in Graduation.
  • Arab Students- 4 year degree 60% or a GPA of 2.5 or above on the scale of 4(4 being the highest) OR 3 year Honours degree with a 1st Class or 2nd Class.
• An honours degree (normally 2.1 or above) in a related subject area together with appropriate teaching/coaching experience.
• Non-graduates whose lack of formal qualifications is compensated for by their age and relevant coaching experience will also be considered.

• For IELTS Waiver  -  At least 65% marks in English in Higher Secondary School
