Program Description

Our Master’s in Computer Science specialising in network engineering provides the skills to design and manage computer systems and networks. This MSc Computer Science provides advanced knowledge of designing, building and testing a wide range of software and network systems. The course explores the networking, software development technologies and architectures involved in modern computer systems and networks. Graduates of this computer science master's degree will be well-placed for a range of advanced roles in computing, with particular emphasis on network systems development and management.

Graduates from this Computer Science course are equipped for employment in industry, commerce or the research sector, with a proficiency in the key theoretical and practical areas of designing, building and testing a wide range of computer and network systems.

Admission Requirements

• You should have an honours degree equivalent UK 2:2 or above in computing-related subject (or in a suitable numerate subject, such as mathematics, physics, engineering, information systems or multimedia that includes software development experience)
• Or substantial commercial/industrial experience including software development using modern programming languages and design.
• General Requirement
  • Indian Students- Four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year (However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 50% in final year is required). 
    Note: More specialised courses require four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 65% in final year.(However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 60% in final year is required).
  • Arab Students-Bachelors Degree with 60% or GPA 2.5/4 for UK 2:2 and GPA 3/4 for UK 2.1
