Program Description

Explore global approaches to public health and their increasing impact on global security with a Master’s in Global Public Health.Global attitudes to public health have never been more significant. Migration, inequality, and the global economy have changed how we think about health and illness. As a result, tackling public health issues now needs to be viewed on a global scale. This course offers you a rich and varied environment to explore the complex public health issues relevant to a global audience. Anyone with an undergraduate degree and/or relevant work experience is encouraged to apply.

Whether you want to further your knowledge in your existing field or you're looking for a qualification to start a new career, this course can be tailored to suit your needs. You can study a generic MSc in Global Public Health or take one of four endorsed routes:

• Child and Maternal Health
• Communicable and Non-communicable Diseases
• Ethics, Human Rights and Public Health
• Culture, Health and Migration.

Admission Requirements

• General Requirement
  • Indian Students- Four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year (However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 50% in final year is required). 
    Note: More specialised courses require four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 65% in final year.(However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 60% in final year is required).
  • Arab Students-Bachelors Degree with 60% or GPA 2.5/4 for UK 2:2 and GPA 3/4 for UK 2.1

Remarks:

• Indian Students for IELTS Waiver - At least 75% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School.
• No IELTS Waiver for Punjab and Haryana
