Program Description

Extend your technical knowledge while pursuing your own interests and experience with this project-led Master’s in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. This MSc Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering course allows you to tailor the course to your own needs. Gain the knowledge you need for careers in the mechanical and manufacturing engineering fields, as well as critical insight of management issues and extensive knowledge of industrial applications.

You'll also be able to pursue specialist interests through the project element of the course. Many of the projects undertaken by our students reflect the key research interests of the department, such as manufacturing, bulk materials handling and instrumentation. However, projects are also derived from our links with industry or from students' own interests or experiences.

Admission Requirements

• General Requirement
  • Indian Students- Four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year (However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 50% in final year is required). 
    Note: More specialised courses require four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 65% in final year.(However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 60% in final year is required).
  • Arab Students-Bachelors Degree with 60% or GPA 2.5/4 for UK 2:2 and GPA 3/4 for UK 2.1
• An appropriate accredited degree (2.2 or above) in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or communications engineering/technology, or equivalent qualification.
