MSc Occupational Psychology

Program Description

With this MSc in Occupational Psychology, you will develop your understanding of a wide range of domains where psychology impacts the workplace. As an occupational psychologist you will apply your psychological knowledge, theory and practice to organisational issues in the workplace. You will study how to drive a positive societal change in a professional setting. This Master’s in Occupational Psychology will cover such topics, like diversity training, assessments feature a range of important social themes such as sexism in leadership, workplace racism, corruption, and organisational greenwashing.

Driven by Psychology’s recent move to more open science, the programme will support you to identify, critically engage and synthesise, and apply bodies of evidence in Occupational Psychology. This programme includes a bespoke Evidence-based Practice module designed to enhance your employability and capability of delivering evidence-based practice.

Admission Requirements

  • General Requirement
    • Indian Students- Four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year (However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 50% in final year is required). 
      Note: More specialised courses require four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 65% in final year.(However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 60% in final year is required).
    • Arab Students-Bachelors Degree with 60% or GPA 2.5/4 for UK 2:2 and GPA 3/4 for UK 2.1
  • Applicants should have: An Honours degree (minimum of 2:2) from a psychology programme accredited by the BPS OR An Honours degree in psychology or equivalent subject (normally a 2:2 or above) and successful completion of a research methods assessment.

  • Indian Students for IELTS Waiver - At least 75% marks in English language course in Higher Secondary School.
