Program Description

Study a Master’s in Strategic Advertising and Marketing Communications for the skills to pursue senior career roles in advertising and communications agencies. We were the first UK university to offer a specialist degree in marketing communications and we've never stopped developing. This MA in Strategic Advertising and Marketing Communications enables graduates and professionally qualified managers to expand their knowledge of marketing communications.

Students interested in a career in public relations also have the option to gain a public relations endorsement of their degree title. The course will develop your understanding of communications planning, consumer decision-making, and traditional and new media. You'll study advertising and promotional strategies, marketing, branding, how to manage direct and digital marketing relationships, and ways to get inside the customer's mind. This degree prepares you to meet the challenges of a changing marketplace, so you emerge ready to enter a range of marketing and communication and public relations roles.

Admission Requirements

• You should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject at 2.2 or above, or equivalent qualification, from a recognised university or higher education institute and some marketing experience.
• General Requirement
  • Indian Students- Four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% in Final Year (However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 50% in final year is required). 
    Note: More specialised courses require four year bachelor degree with a minimum of 65% in final year.(However, if graduating from one of the top universities: Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune University), Calcutta University, Delhi University, Bangalore University and Madras University; a minimum of 60% in final year is required).
  • Arab Students-Bachelors Degree with 60% or GPA 2.5/4 for UK 2:2 and GPA 3/4 for UK 2.1
