Program Description

Our computing degree specialising in network systems provides the skills you need for careers in computing, such as networking and systems management. This course examines in detail how computer systems are designed and developed. You'll have the opportunity to use many different types of hardware and software and gain a variety of skills. Our computing courses are designed with industry support to meet the needs of employers, and this degree is accredited by industry bodies.

A pathway in network systems gives you greater insight into the technology and concepts that make systems work. This will help you to establish and maintain network systems, diagnose network problems, and provide technical support in information technology teams.Former students have secured placement years at Kent Connects, Oracle and the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development.

Career opportunities exist in many computing areas such as IT support, consultancy, internet and e-commerce applications. Graduates can expect to work as independent consultants or in teams with other computer professionals to build and support modern computing systems.

Admission Requirements

  • Arab Students-International Foundation Programme
  • Indian Students-Standard XII with a minimum of 60% (70% for Law, Architecture)
