The synergy of Gannon’s theatre technologies and design program offers you exciting opportunities to pursue your interest in behind-the-scenes work, technology and studio aspects of theatre production. Collaborate with visiting artists, faculty and fellow students in a creative exploration that will lead you to discover your artistic voice in a community of like-minded artists. Nurture your creative talent and secure your career in an array of media including stage, film, education, television, radio, digital media and more.Gain real-world knowledge through key theatre technologies and design courses including:

• Principles of Design: Master the fundamental principles of design including space, time and composition, with an emphasis on creative problem solving and aesthetic development.
• Costume and Makeup Techniques: Learn the materials and techniques of theatrical stage makeup, including application of two-dimensional makeup and the development of a makeup portfolio. 
• Production and Performance in Theatre: Assume various roles of production cast and crew, culminating in a public performance and post-performance evaluation by students and directors. 

Admission Requirements

• A minimum GPA of 3/4 or B Grade in Year 12th or equivalent.
