Program Description

With our human physiology degree, you’ll develop strong theoretical and technical skills in the assessment of human health and disease. You’ll look in-depth at the human body – from the cellular level to the whole person – through specialisms like cell and molecular sciences, neuroscience, exercise and nutritional physiology and cardiovascular science.

In our specialist laboratories, you’ll learn how to monitor and scientifically investigate the range of physiological systems our bodies come under when stressed from illness or the environment.

Group study brings vital teamwork and communication skills, while in your final year you’ll get the chance to focus and develop your academic interests through an independent piece of laboratory-based research or a dissertation working with one of our expert researchers.

The degree will also launch you on a professional path and by the time you’ve finished you will have partly met the academic and experience requirement for membership of the Royal Society of Biology and Chartered Biologist (CBiol) status.

Admission Requirements

General Requirement:-

• Arab Students:-You must have at least one of the following:
  • Tawjihiyah plus foundation year
  • a higher technical institute diploma
  • a junior health college diploma
  • an associate degree
  • an undergraduate diploma
• Indian Students:- You must have both:
  • Require 60% or above in Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII)
  • Require 60% or above in English Language and Mathematics in Standard X.

• IELTS Waiver for Indian Students:-

  • We will accept the following XII standard English State Boards with a score of 80% or above as an alternative to IELTS: Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu,  West Bengal Boards
