Program Description

Designed for registered and qualified physiotherapists, this course gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and professional practice across a range of practical and theory-based units. You'll complete core units of study and choose optional units that are intended to complement different areas of physiotherapy practice, such as musculoskeletal, neurology or a first contact practitioner role. Practical sessions are an important part of this course and, depending on the units you choose, you’ll learn techniques such as soft tissue manipulation and manual therapy techniques.  

Most study will take place on-campus. Our lecturers are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and many still work in practice alongside teaching. Our teaching team also includes researchers with expertise across a range of specialisms, including knee and spinal dysfunctions, musculoskeletal and physical activity interventions, rehabilitation for older people and stroke rehabilitation. 

Admission Requirements

• Applicants must hold a minimum 55%-60%  UK undergraduate honours physiotherapy degree (or international equivalent) and have clinical experience. Students with graduate diplomas in physiotherapy with evidence of recent practice can also apply.

    • a four year bachelors degree with good grades from a recognised Saudi university
    • a three year bachelors degree with good grades awarded by a military institution
    • a postgraduate diploma with required grades
    • a masters degree with required grades
  • Indian Students:- Acceptable qualifications can include: BA, BCom, BBA, BBM,BMM, BE (Engineering), BTech

• IELTS Waiver for Indian Students:- 
  • We will accept the following XII standard English State Boards with a score of 70% or above as an alternative to IELTS: CBSE, CISCE (ISC)
  • We will accept the following XII standard English State Boards with a score of 80% or above as an alternative to IELTS: Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu,  West Bengal Boards
• Fee mentioned is for 15 months
