Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages around the world both in terms of the numbers of speakers, and the global geographical spread. On this degree you will be absorbed into the everyday use of foreign languages as our multi-cultural community includes academics from all over the world, British, exchange and international students, and foreign language assistants. Linguistics is devoted to the scientific study of natural language and concerned with how languages evolve, are structured and what they have in common. It also studies how languages are acquired and used. The study of Linguistics enables you to develop a sound knowledge of both theoretical and applied perspectives and places emphasis on English, with examples from other languages where appropriate.

Admission Requirements

General Requirement:-

  • Arab Students:-You must have at least one of the following:
    • Tawjihiyah plus foundation year
    • a higher technical institute diploma
    • a junior health college diploma
    • an associate degree
    • an undergraduate diploma
  • Indian Students:- You must have both:
    • Require 60% or above in Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII)
    • Require 60% or above in English Language and Mathematics in Standard X.

  • IELTS Waiver for Indian Students:-
