Program Description

If you want to meet a critical need while positively impacting the lives of students, a Bachelor of Science with a major in mathematics education at Trine University may add up for you. According to the U.S. Department of Education, 44 states reported shortages of mathematics teachers for the 2019-20 school year. Once you graduate, you will be equipped to meet this critical need. Like all Franks School of Education programs, extensive field experiences in diverse settings are required beginning in the first year of coursework. The Bachelor of Science with a major in mathematics education program is grounded in state and national standards in order to help you prepare your future students with 21st century skills.
