The amount of data is growing by leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, so are the efforts of those looking to steal it. The cybersecurity concentration within the Bachelor of Science in computer science and information technology (CSIT) degree at Trine University will help you protect data from those who trying to access it for unethical or unlawful purposes. The cybersecurity concentration prepares graduates to be leaders in the protection of data assets.

Graduates of our computer science and information technology program are ready for jobs in the information and technology industry, business, public service and other professions. By completing the cybersecurity concentration, you will be qualified to work as a network, system or database administrator, CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) or ISO. CSIT graduates are also prepared for prestigious graduate schools and can pursue a variety of programs, including information and management science, information science, biomedical informatics, information security, information technology, and technical law.
