Program Description

This emerging new field examines how the behaviour of individuals, groups, organisations and societies are influenced by technology. This covers a wide range of areas, including education, entertainment, social media and cyber security.

• Develop a well-rounded knowledge of all areas of psychology
• Learn a range of research skills and methods to investigate traditional and online behaviour and apply that knowledge in a variety of contexts – including your own independent research
• Use state-of-the art facilities such as eye tracking technology to help you understand how people, groups, organisations and societies interact with, and make use of, technology
• Work with world-leading researchers on projects through the Research Apprenticeship Scheme - many of our students have published work with members of staff
• Opportunity to take an optional 4-week or 30-week placement in industry to give you essential real-world experience and begin building a network of professional contacts

Admission Requirements

• Indian Students Requirement:-
  • You can apply to study a Bachelor’s degree from year one if you hold a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Standard XII and have achieved an average percentage of at least 65% (although some courses will require this to be higher).
  • You can undertake a Foundation Certificate before going on to an undergraduate course if you have successfully completed 12 years of schooling in India and achieved a minimum of UKVI IELTS (Academic) 5.0.
• Arab Students Requirement:-
  • You can apply to study from year one of a Bachelor's degree from year one if you have completed:
    • A foundation programme
    • A Levels, or
    • International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma.
  • Twelve years’ schooling in Saudi Arabia and minimum IELTS 5.0
