Program Description

Fisher College offers a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Leadership. Students can choose the general degree or choose a concentration in Cyber Security Management, Healthcare Management, or Sport Administration. The MBA program has been designed to prepare students for increased responsibility through the development, practice, and application of knowledge and skills used by highly successful business professionals today. Knowledge is not enough. Professional skill sets are required that will give the student the ability for success in positions with higher levels of responsibility. Therefore, the vision for the program’s course design and development is based on practical professional applications of knowledge based on business cases. The program will utilize small student teams for social and experiential learning activities that are focused on the practice of applicable skills for solving current problems in realistic learning environments.

Concentrations:-

Cyber Security Management:- The Cyber Security Management concentration is for business professionals interested in developing their skills in the area of cyber security management. The concentration teaches core skills required in the areas of principles of cyber security management, financial decisions making in cyber security management, and the operational aspects of cyber security management. The focus will be on the business side of cyber security and keeping assets safe from intrusions.  

Healthcare Management:-The Healthcare Management Concentration is for healthcare industry professionals interested in career advancement and for those individuals who have a strong desire to excel in the healthcare management environment.  The concentration teaches core skills required of all healthcare managers in today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving field. The concentration is designed to meet the increasing opportunities for trained and prepared healthcare managers.  It provides professional growth for clinicians and non-clinicians alike and helps prepare individuals for a myriad of new roles with increasing responsibility.

Sport Administration :-The Sport Administration Concentration leverages the foundational business administration knowledge and professional skills students have gained in their courses to examine current trends and opportunities for success in the sport industry. Students who pursue the MBA in Sport Administration gain specialized knowledge of the strategies and tools utilized by sport professionals to effectively sell, manage venues, and build brands in the sport industry.
