Program Description

Biotechnology is technology based on biology. By combining cellular and biomolecular processes, we can develop technologies and products that help improve our lives and the health of our planet.  Modern biotechnology provides breakthrough products and technologies to combat debilitating and rare diseases, reduce our environmental footprint, feed the hungry, use less and cleaner energy, and have safer, cleaner and more efficient industrial manufacturing processes.

Admission Requirements

• Freshmen applicants who meet one of the following criteria will receive automatic admission to Arkansas State:
  • 3.0 cumulative high school grade point average (or GED test score equivalent) OR
  • 19 minimum ACT super score or minimum 990 combined SAT super score OR
  • Class rank in the top 20% of applicant's graduating class
• High School Marks(India, Nepal, Pakistan) 60% in English at X & XII in Certificate.
