Program Description
The Department of Biological Sciences at Arkansas State University recognizes that diversity, equity, and inclusion are all critical aspects to effective teaching, excellent research, and outstanding mentoring. The BioDiversity Committee seeks to enhance and support diversity, equity, and inclusion by
- Identifying and providing access to resources and needs within the department
- Enhancing visibility and support of our diverse department
- Acting as a conduit and resource for students, staff, and faculty in issues involving diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Admission Requirements
- Freshmen applicants who meet one of the following criteria will receive automatic admission to Arkansas State:
- 3.0 cumulative high school grade point average (or GED test score equivalent) OR
- 19 minimum ACT super score or minimum 990 combined SAT super score OR
- Class rank in the top 20% of applicant's graduating class
- High School Marks(India, Nepal, Pakistan) 60% in English at X & XII in Certificate.
