Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Management degree, with a concentration in Finance, is designed to focus on finance theory and practice. Throughout the program, students will gain the necessary skills to identify, measure, analyze, communicate, and interpret financial information. The field of finance offers a variety of career choices that include, but are not limited to: positions in investment accounting, financial analysis, corporate finance, portfolio management, and risk management

Learning Outcomes

In addition to the learning outcomes in the Bachelor of Science in Management, students within the Finance concentration will also achieve the following concentration-specific learning objectives:

• Demonstrate knowledge of financial theories within the primary areas of finance
• Demonstrate the ability to organize, analyze and interpret quantitative and financial data
• Display the ability to apply financial information to recommend and justify solutions to financial problems
• Understand the effect of global influences on the financial decision making process
