Program Description

Students of English enjoy reading, interpreting literature, and analyzing complex or interesting media of all kinds. Knowledge of English language and literature and a variety of writing strategies are developed in this major. Technical writing, critical thinking, business writing, and persuasive writing, are just a few of the skills pursued and obtained by English graduates that employers value highly. Students can specialize in:

• British Literature
• American Literature
• Multicultural Literature and Gender Studies
• Writing and Rhetoric
• World Literature.

Admission Requirements

• A GPA of 3.0 is required in intermediate degree.
• Submit official test scores(SAT or ACT)
