Program Description

The MS/ACCY program is offered through collaboration between the College of Business Administration and the College of Continuing Education. The degree is offered by the College of Business Administration and administered through the College of Continuing Education. The MS/ACCY program was developed in response to new developments in the accounting and business worlds. Increasingly, accountants who hold undergraduate degrees in accounting seek advanced degrees as the complexity of the accounting field increases. Accounting professionals are involved with an ever-widening range of careers including public accounting, corporate accounting, income tax accounting, not-for-profit accounting, and government accounting. Significant changes in the regulatory climate, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, have increased the need for graduate level education.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum 2.5 overall undergraduate GPA AND
  • Minimum Total GMAT score of 500 AND
  • Minimum GMAT Quantitative percentile of 30 AND
  • Minimum GMAT Verbal percentile of 30
