MA English: Creative Writing
Program Description
The English: Creative Writing, M.A. program help students identify creative strengths, articulate their artistic visions, and engage with local, national, and international literary and publishing communities. The program faculty specialize in realistic fiction, speculative fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Our graduates continue their studies in PhD and MFA programs around the country, teach at the secondary and higher education institutions, and advance their professional careers.

Admission Requirements
Students must:
- hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university,
- have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) on all undergraduate work,
- Two applications: (1) Graduate School Application and (2) Program Application
