Master of Public Administration: Nonprofit Management

Program Description

The UTC Department of Political Science and Public Service offers the Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree, providing graduate-level training for students interested in pursuing careers in public service.  We also offer a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management for professionals moving into management roles in nonprofit organizations. The Public Administration, M.P.A. program prepares students to be effective public service leaders, managers, and analysts in a wide range of public and nonprofit agencies. Students can choose from three concentration options: generalist, local government and nonprofit management.

Admission Requirements

Students must:

  • hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university,
  • have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) on all undergraduate work,
  • Graduate School Application
  • GRE Scores: The GRE requirement is waived for applicants with an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.25 and applicants who have already earned a graduate degree from a regionally accredited university.
