Program Description

Our Master of Science in Data Analytics program focuses on combining high-quality expertise in computer science with business analytic skills so that massive volumes of data may be visualized and analyzed to reveal emerging business trends.  The program also focuses on application of advanced data mining techniques to predict events important to the organization.  The graduates of this innovative program will bridge gaps between accomplished business executives and the technological expertise that can help organizations derive value from data. Data Analytics is a broad discipline with many applications and focuses on the collection, management, quality control and interpretation of large sets of data. Professionals with data analytics expertise are highly sought after and work in a variety of industries including healthcare, logistics and transportation, manufacturing and more. These professionals need both technical know-how and business knowledge as they help organizations interpret technical data in order to make better business decisions.

Admission Requirements

Students must:

• hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university,
• have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) on all undergraduate work,

• GRE or GMAT scores
