Program Description

The Counselor Education: Clinical Mental Health, M.Ed. program is primarily designed for those who wish to pursue employment in a clinical mental health setting and pursue licensure as a professional counselor. The 60 credit program is a basis for preparation for the requirements for licensure as a Professional Counselor in the State of Tennessee.

Admission Requirements

Students must:

• A baccalaureate degree in Engineering or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university or foreign equivalent.
•  A minimum grade point average of 2.75 on all undergraduate work taken toward the baccalaureate degree or a 3.0 in the last 60 hours
• Graduate School Application
• GRE or MAT scores
