Master of Social Work

Program Description

The Social Work, M.S.W. program is designed to prepare students for advanced social work practice with individuals, groups and communities, and communities as they age through the life course. Graduates of the program will be prepared for employment as social workers in numerous fields and agencies. Graduates of the program will also be able to obtain licensure as clinical social workers.

The Social Work, M.S.W. program has an Advanced Standing 36-hour program available to students who have completed a B.S.W. from a C.S.W.E.-accredited institution within the last seven years and a Traditional 60-hour program for those without a B.S.W.

Admission Requirements

Students must:

  •  Graduate School Application 
  • A baccalaureate degree in Engineering or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university or foreign equivalent.
  • A3.0 minimum GPA for all undergraduate work taken for the baccalaureate degree. All GPAs are based on a 4.0 point scale.
