Program Description

Bachelor of Arts in Art Education degree is intended for students seeking a well-rounded liberal arts education focused on studio arts in preparation for teaching Art in K-12 schools. The degree encourages competency in written, oral, and visual expression. The degree program requires a minor in Education as well as additional Education coursework to fulfill the Residency requirement in preparation for licensure in the state of Tennessee
