The Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts at St. Francis College will empower innovative and inspired creators who not only adapt to the ever-changing media world around us, they aim to set the pace. With the speed of evolution of social media, in particular, SFC keeps its finger on the pulse of this evolution, adapting what it means to tell a story and remain relevant in the 21st century.
Students in the Communication Arts program study both the theory and practice of communications, as well as gain hands-on media production experience in radio, film, and TV. Students in the program have the opportunity to create a portfolio of creative work, which will include a capstone project in the media of the student’s choosing. Underlying the focused, outcomes-driven curriculum is SFC’s robust General Education Program, which is the cornerstone of SFC and affirms its mission to graduate educated, well-rounded individuals who enter the workforce and work to change and culturally diversify the world.
