Entrepreneurship isn’t just a career aspiration – it’s a mindset that is about proactively seeking opportunities and engaging in innovative endeavors in both career and life. It is this mindset that is the focus of the Bachelor of Science degree program in Entrepreneurship and Organizational Innovation at St. Francis College. The program provides students with a foundational body of knowledge, which can be applied to maximize success within startups, small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), multinational corporations (MNCs), or self-employment (full-time or side hustles). Throughout the program’s coursework, students in the program are encouraged to develop an openness to learning, to consistently seek opportunities that have both economic and social value, and to lead by example-motivating and mobilizing others to do the same. After completing the program, students will emerge as next-gen entrepreneurial leaders with the ability to leverage challenges into opportunities and who create both economic and social value.
Underlying the focused, outcomes-driven curriculum is SFC’s robust General Education Program, which is the cornerstone of SFC and affirms its mission to graduate educated, well-rounded individuals who enter the workforce and work to change and culturally diversify the world.
