Program Description

The Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies program at St. Francis College provides a deep dive into major perspectives in cultural studies, and students will identify the cultural, political, economic, and social structures of regions worldwide.

Students in the program will analyze and interpret art, music, literature, film, and other cultural forms using the appropriate vocabulary and concepts, as well as demonstrate an understanding of the main approaches in one or more social sciences that deal directly or indirectly with the concepts of culture. Underlying the focused, outcomes-driven curriculum is SFC’s robust General Education Program, which is the cornerstone of SFC and affirms its mission to graduate educated, well-rounded individuals who enter the workforce and work to change and culturally diversify the world.

Admission Requirements

• Students who have achieved a high school GPA of 71 or above will be fully admitted to the institution (with the exception of the nursing program).
• Students who have a GPA between 65 and 70 may participate in our conditional admittance program on a case-by-case basis.
