Students in the Bachelor of Arts degree program in History at St. Francis College will develop key writing, critical thinking, research, and interdisciplinary skills to pursue graduate school or a number of professions such as law, journalism, business, the arts, education, government, public administration, and archival and museum work.
The History program at SFC focuses on research, writing, and critical analysis, preparing students in the lifelong habits of a self-educating person. Students in the program will learn from – and collaborate with – dedicated faculty members and students who passionate about the past and its impact on a 21st century world. Underlying the focused, outcomes-driven curriculum is SFC’s robust General Education Program, which is the cornerstone of SFC and affirms its mission to graduate educated, well-rounded individuals who enter the workforce and work to change and culturally diversify the world.
