Program Description

Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), an autonomous accrediting agency contributing to the improvement of the public's health, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at St. Francis College educates leaders who are prepared to practice safely within the technologically advanced and dynamic health care environment of the 21st century.

With brand-new, custom-built labs and learning suites, SFC hones students’ abilities in therapeutic communication, critical thinking, clinical judgment, interprofessional collaboration, leadership and cultural competency. Graduates of the Nursing B.S.N. program go on to secure employment at some of the most prestigious institutions around the country, and SFC Nursing graduates from the class of 2021 achieved an 88.52% NCLEX-RN pass rate, exceeding both national and New York State averages.

Admission Requirements

  • Cumulative high school GPA of 85 (3.0) or higher with the required test scores
  • Submit official scores for one of the following tests:
    • SAT: 1050 + (super score)
    • ACT: 21 +
  • Cumulative high school GPA of 90 (3.5) or above
