If you have an interest in numbers, business, and analytical thinking, earning your undergraduate degree in economics can be the first step toward a rewarding career.

Economists conduct research, collect and analyze data, monitor economic trends, and develop forecasts. Their research might focus on topics such as energy costs, inflation, interest rates, farm prices, rents, imports, or employment. Economists work mainly in business, finance, and government and the profession is projected to grow significantly over the next few years.  A bachelor’s degree in Economics from AUM provides students with a strong combination of theory and the practical, hands-on learning you need to hit the ground running in your career. You could work in economic analysis, economic and business modeling, economic and market forecasting, law, banking and finance, corporate finance, international business, or public service.
