Program Description

AUM has several graduate degree options in elementary education and in early childhood education –

• Alternative Masters: for those without teacher certification at the BS level
• Traditional Masters: for those who already hold an Alabama Class B Professional Educator Certificate
• Education Specialist: for those with an Alabama Class A Professional Educator Certificate.

All these degree options end in teacher certification; however, under some circumstances a non-cert option is available. This master’s degree program is designed for students who have undergraduate degrees/Class B Certification in early childhood education and wish to broaden their knowledge base in early childhood education leading to Class A Certification.

Admission Requirements

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Official transcripts required at time of application. 
• A GPA of 2.5  is required.

• I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $27,363
