Program Description

Physical Education, Exercise Science, and Sports Management involves educators working in tandem to lead, instruct and mentor groups of students. The Kinesiology Department within the AUM College of Education offers master’s degree programs with each of these areas.  The traditional master’s program is for those who already hold a valid Alabama Class B Professional Educator Certificate.

An Alternative Master’s is also available for those who have not earned an undergraduate education degree or teacher certification. The Education Specialist program uses a blend of technology and media to support candidates in a variety of learning environments. Courses are enhanced with a technology focus on the latest evidence-based teaching and learning strategies as well as assist the candidate in developing his/her professional identity and professional practice as an educator.

Admission Requirements

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Official transcripts required at time of application. 
• A GPA of 2.5  is required.

• I20(Visa Letter) can be obtained only after submitting a bank statement with a balance of USD $27,363
