Program Description

Offered fully online, fully on-campus, or in a blended fashion, the Master of Engineering Management (MSEM) professional degree program will prepare you to use engineering technology and management perspectives to solve complex problems throughout industries. You’ll learn to foster engineering creativity as a leader and decision-maker, all within the framework of complex systems analysis, design, and management. The Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) is a 10-course professional degree program offered by the College of Engineering in collaboration with The Isenberg School of Management. As an academic partner of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM), the UMass Amherst MSEM is designed for the STEM professional to develop their project, people, and/or process leadership abilities through an engineering lens.

Admission Requirements

  • A GPA of 3.0 required in undergraduate degree
  • GRE  Recommendable(The GRE requirement is waived and not required for students applying for Spring 2023 and Fall 2023)
