Program Description

Offered by the Isenberg School of Management, the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) enhances your career opportunities by developing your data manipulation, visualization, and modeling skills. The MSBA is offered as a 1-year program on-campus in Amherst or Newton, or complete the program at your own pace through our flexible online learning platform. Both on-campus options have achieved classification as a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program. Coursework includes Business Intelligence, Application Development with Python, Data Mining, Data Science for Business, and Data Management for Business Leaders.

Admission Requirements

• A GPA of 3.0 required in undergraduate degree
• A GMAT/GRE waiver is granted for an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. To be considered for the GMAT/GRE waiver, leave the application test score section blank. If you are a working professional and don’t meet the GPA qualification, waivers may be considered for individuals with professional work experience.
• A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized academic institution of acceptable standing.
• Coursework in subjects such as calculus, statistics or probability is encouraged, but not required.
