Program Description

The Accounting Program in the Davis College of Business & Technology provides students with the knowledge and skills to facilitate a career in Accounting or Corporate Finance.  The program prepares students for accounting certification. Becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is essential for a career in public accounting and serves as a springboard for industry careers in accounting and finance. Becoming a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) facilitates a career in Accounting or Finance with a Corporate firm. In addition to gaining the needed technical knowledge for these certifications, we help students develop the strategic foundation to become effective managers and leaders. This combination of technical, leadership and management skills provides a competitive advantage over traditional accounting programs.

Admission Requirements

  • A GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 required in Year 12th.
